Back in the year 2000 when I had joined Kama, managing my work was very difficult since before I joined Kama I was just a hand setter in Zaveri Bazaar with no technical knowledge. It is here where I learnt all the technical aspects, i.e. how to use the different machines and the different kind of hand setting instruments. Technical knowledge helped me to increase my productivity in a month. I faced a few challenges with my work initially, but senior’s guidance helped me to perform better. I have grown in Kama with time. I had joined Kama as a worker, then I was in the QC department, then a tracker and now I am a Metal Setting supervisor. I think the management and the work quality is very good in Kama and I really enjoy working here.
Lots of knowledge and growth opportunities is what I got at Kama. I grew not only professionally but also personally and financially. What I like most about Kama is the work culture and the transparency here. There is a certain discipline with the freedom. My fondest memory here is when I participated in the Annual day at Kama. Whole of Kama has been my mentor in my whole tenure. The Kama family is surely the pride of Kama.
I started as an IT Manager and looking at my abilities I got opportunities to upgrade myself at multiple levels. This enabled me to face the different scenarios of the IT World. In this journey learning from seniors was very important. To be a part of Kama for such a long time required some support, appreciation and energy booster which was provided by seniors Kama’s healthy working environment, continuous appreciation & support from knowledgeable team members always keeps me lively & makes me feel proud to be part of Kama. My proudest moment in Kama was to get SAP, emperor & synergic live. Overall experience of seventeen years in the jewelry vertical helped me to be involved in various projects.
I had joined Kama Schachter back in the year 2000 as an assistant data operator not knowing what it would be like few years down the line. Now here I am completing 15 years, leading the export order processing team. Kama has become more like a family now. I love the working culture. Kama makes me happy that is why I am still here. I had no idea about jewelry before I joined Kama. It’s been a learning process for me throughout. The entire journey has helped me to gain tremendous knowledge and in turn helped me to grow.
My Growth in Kama has been tremendous. I started working in Kama as an office boy. My seniors trusted me and gave me opportunity to become a helper in Refinery. My hard work & the support from the Kama family has helped me climb the ladder towards success. Now I am the Refinery Supervisor. Kama helped me in all aspects. The Kama family is therefore very close to my heart. I got to learn many things & want to learn even more.
